Betaworks Studios is looking for a passionate and experienced Growth Marketing Manager to join our team!

Betaworks Studios’ mission is the professional and personal advancement of builders and doers through community and connections. We are hiring a Growth Marketing Manager to help up grow our community and bring this mission to founders, developers, and early employees building amazing products out there. To achieve this goal, you’ll develop cohesive marketing strategies based on member insights and business trends, and partner closely with our Events team to bring campaigns to life. You’ll be responsible for the overall growth of our membership, owning strategy and leading execution for all paid and owned marketing channels and you will be an integral part in building our local marketing strategy, and drive strong tactical execution in to achieve brand goals.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and coordinate integrated marketing and comms campaigns across web, social, PR, email and other channels
  • Drive awareness for Studios and its members
  • Develop membership pipeline and drive customer acquisition
  • Create plans and execution strategies to grow our list of partners
  • Develop and implement paid media campaigns
  • Analyze and report on marketing metrics on both owned and paid channels
  • Create new datasets for the rest of the team to understand and act on insights collected
  • Contribute to design and copywriting for email, landing pages, ads (and more!)
  • Help craft a strategy and execution plan to expand our community beyond the walls of our club
  • Develop relationships with other players in the space through networking
  • Support the Programming & Experience team with idea generation and execution

You should have:

  • At least 2+ years of experience in B2B or B2C demand Generation with proven success in developing and executing multi-channel acquisition programs
  • A demonstrated experience cultivating community and partnerships
  • Robust experience in field marketing strategies and tactics
  • Some event marketing experience
  • An outgoing personality — this job requires that you are comfortable interacting in person with potential customers and event attendees in face-to-face and group settings, and that you attend networking events
  • A desire to contribute to a cross-functional, high-performing team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A go-getter attitude and the capability to define your own daily agenda according to goals set by the team
  • A strong work ethic and a kind personality — we’re a no BS company and only work with people who want to be nice to others


  • 1-2 years experience in a venture-backed start-up
  • Marketing platform experience (Hubspot, Airtable, SplashThat, Eventbrite, Optimizely, Fb Google and LinkedIn Ads)
  • Project Management experience
  • HTML/design experience
  • Past experience at or background in tech or media startups
